JEFF IMMELT

Jeff Immelt joined athenahealth and New Enterprise Associates (NEA) in 2018 after serving
 as Chairman and CEO of GE for 16 years. Immelt serves as Chairman of the Board of
athenahealth, a leading provider of network-enabled services for hospitals and ambulatory 
clients nationwide. He is a venture partner at NEA, a global venture capital firm, where he
 works closely with technology and healthcare companies.  Mr. Immelt was the 9th Chairman of GE and served as CEO for 16 years, transforming GE into a simpler, stronger, and more focused digital industrial company. Immelt revamped the company’s strategy, global footprint, workforce and culture, positioning GE for the future. Immelt has been named one of the "World's Best CEOs" three times by Barron's, and GE has been named "America's Most Admired Company" by Fortune magazine and one of "The World's Most Respected Companies" in polls by Barron's and Financial Times. Jeff serves as a Vice Chairman of the National Football Foundation and has been on the Board for more than a decade.  He earned a BA degree in applied mathematics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard University.
